  Our Mission
The mission of the church is to bring spiritual healing and restoration to all people. We actively encourage fervent prayer, church and family unity and community service. These goals are accomplished through Christian Education, Stewardship, Discipleship and Evangelism.

  Sermons
Sunday morning services are recorded on audio cassette tape. You may request a Sunday Morning Sermon via email by clicking the Sermon title. The cost per tape is $5.00.

  Notable Notes
The Rochester/Strickland Scholarship Committee will meet every third Monday at the church at 5:30 p.m.
The Roy Dixon Chorus will rehearse every Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the lecture hall.
The Catechism/Confirmation Class will meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. (Please see Mrs. Mary Sue Milner or Mrs. Mary Dumas).
The Trustees will meet at the church on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The Stewards will meet at the church on the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
The Lay Council will meet one hour before each Quarterly Conference.
The Beyond The Walls Ministry will meet on the 2nd Friday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the church.
Bible Study will be held in the Lecture Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church.

Dr. Carter is the arranger of the Negro National Anthem “Lift Every Voice and Sing” popular among Black College Choirs
